Mastering RAI 2.0Clinical Module

Mastering RAI 2.0: Clinical Module is a web-based educational program that provides an engaging and interactive learning experience, incorporating expert subject matter knowledge, modern instructional design theory and leading edge media technologies. This program is designed to help health care professionals to understand the basic terminology, and procedures involved in completing the RAI 2.0 Assessment. Clinicians can practice the assessment approach, and evaluate their skills through an interactive real life case study of a Long Term Care client. Self-evaluations at the end of most sections provide feedback on the topics needing review.

Mastering RAI 2.0: Clinical Module also provides detailed information about how CAPs (Clinical Assessment Protocols previously RAPs) are triggered and how they are central to Care Planning. The relationship of CAPs and Outcome Measures in Care Planning, along with other applications of the assessment information you collect. The use of animations, videos, graphic and text with narration are used to enrich your knowledge of applications of the assessment information. These include, Outcome Measures, Resource Utilization Groups (RUG-III), and Quality Indicators.

In addition, Mastering RAI 2.0: Clinical Module provides clinical educators with printouts, discussion questions, key messages, and performance expectations for new learners. The software includes Video interviews with experts in RAI Assessment development and implementation. Soon to include: Video testimonials from clinicians providing personal insight into their successful integration and application of the RAI 2.0.
